[Sept. 22, 2023 UPdate: This is back for 2023 and still seriously murky. Remarkable aroma of hops but not what I'd call drinkable.]
What do we have now-- a Cascadian, Northwest Pale Ale? Brewery says this is made with Amarillo and Motueka hops. It's leafy and murky. Quite cloudy pale yellow with plenty of foam in the Troubadour tulip. Is it yeast? Tastes quite yeasty and sharp to me.
Some light malt flavor with just a trace of sweetness. Quite a mineral taste with some green tea. LIme peel with a bitter aftertaste. Also tastes a little salty. From the 32 oz growler filled at the brewery in downtown Bellingham.
