a somewhat mild mosaic ipa with blueberries. i wanted a little more hops from this one, the fruit part seemed to overtake the hops a little bit, but we all liked the beer pretty well. soft hazy blueish purple color, i think the name is right, this looks a little fuzzy. the head is nearly an inch tall and pink, and fresh mosaic bursts from the nose but is far less compelling the the taste, i get pineapple and citrus when i smell it, which is amazing with the blueberry, but i get a lot less of that when i taste it, tart and sweet from the blueberries, along with a fairly flavorful ale yeast, run away from the hops, and as good and cohesive as it is, more hops and more bitterness especially would improve this one, at least as long as they are calling it an ipa. even being relaxed, the mosaic is awesome with the blueberry, a fusion of flavors that makes perfect sense, something we probably should have seen before now frankly. i really thought this was good, somewhat delicate as an ipa despite being super flavorful still. my first beer from structures has me thirsty for more!
