L: Most gorgeous New England appearance, solid and opaque pale yellow-apricot hue with a two finger head displaying excellent retention and a raindrop pattern of lacing.

S: I second the cantaloupe and green onion on the nose. Malt presence. Also A good blend of pine resin and spirits. These overtake the citrus and tropical fruit qualities.

T: Follows the nose. It has a nice drier and top shelf cocktail quality, is wonderfully bitter mid-sip, which seems to continue endlessly after.

F: Lush and off-dry. Rightly carbonated.

O: This brew came outta nowhere and rivals Structures’ bests! A must-try for those happy with the haze craze!

Poured into a Seattle Beer Week pint glass. Pours a very hazy caramel amber, almost looks like a fruit smoothie with a two finger white head with good retention and lacing. Aroma of pale malt, citrus and tropical fruit, lemon, orange, mild mixed tropical fruit and some dankness and a little green onion. Flavor is pale malt, citrus hops with a little tropical character, orange, tangerine, cantelope, papaya, citrus rind. Finishes with cantelope, orange citrus and a surprising lingering mildly citrus hop bitterness with hints of toffee. Nice mouth feel with light to moderate creaminess and good carbonation. The malt character is very much in the background, but seems to be a good support for the hops. I was a bit underwhelmed at first, as usual missing the up front IPA bitterness I want, but the finish brought in some nice dry and citrusy bitterness that seemed to improve as I drank the glass. That's great, because my main taste disappointment with this style is that many of these hazies lose bitterness and taste like old fruit juice as the glass empties. Not my style of IPA, but really has an interesting fruit mixture in the hop flavor and the finish is quite satisfying. There is a nice mild cantelope / toffee note in the finish that was appealing to me. Well done. The minimalist, but evocative, can graphics are well done.
