The brewery calls this a "Cold IPA", yet it hits none of the marks of that nascent style. It pours fully murky (which is Structures wheelhouse), a densely cloudy dark yellow color. an inch-and-a-half of white head had good retention and lacing.
The aroma was a bit more than slightly skunky, not at bottled Heineken level, but still notably so. The musty basement scent that often accompanies old hops also made itself known. Low-to-no grain or yeast aspects present to provide a counterpoint.
The taste was the same as the aroma, with the added bonus of a bit of sourness.
The body was typical for a murkbomb, medium light with a semi-sweet finish, but lacked the crispness and bite of the Cold IPAs I've had.
Drinkability was a bit of a chore, mostly due to the skunk and sourness.
Overall, I won't recommend it, but maybe try it for yourself, YMMV.
