English-style barleywine aged in Weller, Four Roses and Blanton's barrels for 18-24 months.
Poured from 750mL bottle into a tulip glass. Virtually no head, very little carbonation. Lacing is medium-heavy. Color is a dark, semi-translucent amber. Smell has a heavy fig aroma - taste is very similar to the smell. Mouthfeel is smooth and heavy.
Overall: Nice beer - but probably not worth the Hand of Glory that I traded to get this.
