Very light amount of light brown head, which recedes to a ring on the edge of the glass. Really thick pour of nearly black and opaque liquid, for the look. Somewhat restrained, sweet and rich, dark roasted grains, a fair amount of light chocolate and caramel, with a hint of vanilla , for the aroma. Sweet, mild dark chocolate, a bit of vanilla cream soda, on a caramel base, with the cinnamon barely there, for the taste. In the finish and mainly aftertaste, those darkly roasted barley malts are detectable.
