The fresh hops are Amarillo from Crosby Hops in the Willamette Valley. Big lemony aroma with some grapefruit in the nose. Tangy and um, even more tangy, and virtually no malt flavor. Seems hot and spicy as well. Citrus peel is the taste amid a big fruity flavor. I'm not sure how the fresh hop plays into this, but it seems more acidic and less bitter than some hop concoctions. At least they resisted the urge to make it a hazy. It's an essential for the Fresh Hop season. From the 16 oz can purchased at Elizabeth Station. No date.
