Clearest beer I have seen in a while. Looks like apple juice. Head is white, however no lacing at all. Nose is slightly citrusy as is taste. Decent bitterness with a little grip of the back of the tongue. Good beer.

pours a clear yellow gold body with off-white fluffy foam head that has moderately high retention and leaves occasional lacing as it settles

an aroma of lush, near-dank pineapple hop leaps out, followed by an earthy hop bitterness, with a light herbal shade to them. pineapple citrus takes the lion's share, however.

the taste essentially follows the nose, but with an increased herbal earthy bitterness towards the end.

mouthfeel is moderate carbonation with medium-light body that goes smooth, occasionally feeling somewhat watery, and finishes dry with an herbal bitterness aftertaste

overall:
while I feel that they missed their announced mark of a West coast IPA, this is still a decent IPA. the odd team up/balancing act of pineapple and herbal hop bitterness is a standout, though there really isn't anything outside of that to be sought out and enjoyed. it's a good sit and sip IPA though, and for that it still get's solid marks.
4 on the floor for Hufflepuff.

Poured from can into tulip, 1+ finger bright cream colored head, good retention and lacing. Bright hazy golden in the glass. Tropical on the nose, herbal, pineapple and citrus are what stand out. Taste is not really west coast, initially sweet malt, then a bright overripe pineapple, citrus that follows thru to the finish, which has a mild bitterness. Residual pineapple on the palate, not much going on, somewhat one dimensional. I am wondering if they used any regular hops in this or if it was all cryo. I have heard that using 100% cyro leads to something like this.
