Had on-tap at the brewery in Capitol Hill at just above sea level. Served in tulip glass.
Optimism is doing something kind of neat by not listing styles with the beers, rather listing characteristics.
Look is an attractive East-coast orange murkiness with white head and decent lacing.
Smell is crisp, citrusy and sweet.
Taste is citrusy and biscuit notes.
Feel is thick and the beer lingers on the tongue.
Above average, enjoyable IPA.

I had this beer on-tap in a tulip at the brewery.
Appearance: murky orange hue with a finger of creamy ivory foam that leaves a nice lace on the glass as it dissipates.
Smell: quite sweet with a candylike tangerine character. Just the kind of thing I like.
Taste: very citrusy with grapefruit and tangerine notes on top of a somewhat sweet, bready malt base. I like it.
Mouthfeel: medium body with a big carbonation and a very nice creaminess.
Overall: I enjoy this beer an awful lot. I could really quaff a lot of it.
