Wetwired is a fresh hop IPA brewed in collaboration with our good friends from Holy Mountain Brewing. We used over 400 lbs of fresh/wet mosaic hops from Perrault Farms in Toppenish, WA. Yes, it’s named after an episode of x-files and no, it won’t be around for long.

16oz (canned yesterday) into a tulip. Pours a hazy lemon yellow, looks just like so many other hazy fresh hop beers I've enjoyed over the last few weeks.
Aroma is punchy citrus and tropical fruit, juicy. Enticing.
Taste follows nose. Grapefruit, orange, peach, mango, pineapple ... it's all here. Nice bright acidity washes across the palate on the finish.
Mouthfeel is medium bodied, balanced, crisp and refreshing.
Overall another outstanding NW fresh hop beer. And another one I might classify as a New England IPA rather than American IPA based on lower bitterness, hazy appearance, etc. But then I was never really a fan of creating a new style for this version of IPA anyway.

16oz can served in a SIP Fest snulip. Dated 10/09/2020. Bought it today at the Ballard tasting room.
Pours a hazy straw yellow with a huge fluffy head that collapses into clumps and peaks and heavy lacing. Smell is bright fresh and loud, green hops -- leaves and resin.
Taste is grainy sweetness and nice floral hoppiness. Not a slap in the face, but a lot of nice flavors here.
Mouthfeel is medium, slightly gritty. Very nice overall beer.
