Pours pitch black, a finger of tan head bubbles up but reduces to nothing more than a ring in moments. Sticky lacing. Aroma is coffee beans, chocolate, lemon peel and bread. Taste is an off putting sour lemon/grapefruit on the front with some very mild coffee notes in the middle and a tart finish. Very crisp feel especially with that tart bite which is also unexpected. I feel like the coffee should be the center piece since it is a “coffee porter” offering. Too much citrus and sour notes for me. Will pass in the future.
