Notes:
Its copper color is reminiscent of the old Montana mining days. This is a smooth refreshing lager, with a hint of roasted malt. Subtle, but very tasty.

Attractive amber gold color with disappearing white cap.
Nice scent of bready malt with a touch of caramel. Light floral hops.
Body is more than the scent implies, the malt is deeper and richer with a touch of caramel sweetness, just a touch, yet the brew remains and finishes rather dry. I get hop effect mostly in the back of the palate and there's certainly enough to balance the malt.
Medium texture with balancing carbonation.
This is a fuller version of an amber lager, I'll call it Vienna but don't quote me, that comes across as a higher hopped (28 IBU) version of a Yuengling Traditional Lager and is a better beer for it. Overall it's well balanced, very drinkable and food friendly.

look: 4 | smell: 4 | taste: 4.5 | feel: 3.75 | overall: 4.25
Golden with some amber tint; generous and beautiful head leaves light moderate lacing.
Flavors are great; floral hops followed by some light pine melded with bready malts. Especially for the abv this amazing. Carbonation is tumultuous and kinda hard.
Pretty damn good.

Poured from bottle into a pint glass
Appearance – Pours a golden amber color with a one finger head of white foam. The head fades very fast leaving just a trace of foamy lace on the sides of the glass
Smell – The aroma of the beer is heaviest of a grassy smell mixed with a nice bready aroma. Along with these smells comes some light floral and herbal notes and a bit of spice.
Taste – The taste begins with a rather bready flavor mixed with a little bit of caramel and a light apple fruitiness. The fruit fades fast as some flavors of grass and a little hay comes to the tongue. All the while some other hop taste of an herbal nature comes to the tongue and with the loss of most of the sweet, one is left with a bready, but rather crisp taste to linger on the tongue.
Mouthfeel- The body of the brew is rather average for a ~ 5 % abv. lager with a carbonation level that is rather average as well. For the style it is decent and makes for an easy sipper all while upholding the flavors rather decently.
Overall- A decent lager overall, but nothing all that out of the ordinary. Certainly worth a try for a nice more session style easy drinking brew from the great state of Montana.
