tasty and summery, heavy on the tangerine but its authentic enough to me, a little bit of an orange soda thing going on, but it fits the season, a chuckle with the name squeezer, probably unintentional. the low abv is rad for this, and it drinks light without being overly minimal, i appreciate the trend toward some lower abv stuff overall, longer sessions and higher volumes are awesome to me. shandy type beer with a wheaty base and what must be real fruit or something pretty pure and high quality, and it comes together well. blonde and just a tad cloudy, not much head but i think it still looks the part. the nose is fully fruit forward, orange candy, some acidity and also some sweetness from the tangerine, essential oil purity and intensity, and its cool that some pale wheat is obvious to balance it, even at this low abv. some minerals here, nothing from the yeast really, a bit of sugar. the flavor is the same, bright natural tangerine up front, its bitter side later, the wheat in the center, minimal in the right ways and in a shandy type like this i really dont mind the higher proportion of fruit, thats kind of the point. summery and fun, low brow in a good way, some body still, i think lacking just a bit on the carbonation, itd be better if this was really charged up, but i see why this is doing well for them. its all over town right now and it makes sense. great tangerine character.

Draft at The Alchemist. Hazy golden pour , paper thin fine head. Light tangerine aroma. Taste brings out more tangerine, and also some solid bready malts. Finish is the malts with some lingering citrus.
