We love this time of the year as it gives us the opportunity to brew our annual Festbier. This year we have gone all out with some of the finest German malts, and hops direct from Seitz Farm in the Hallertau growing region of Germany. We selected the heirloom German barley variety Barke, in Pilsner and Vienna style malts to lend a decidely more chewy, honey soaked malt character to the beer. The hop choice is singular; Seitz Farm Hallertauer Hersbrucker. This wonderful noble hop provides a slight orange blossom aroma mixed with a herbal depth and a spicy touch. The beer pours a beautiful light golden colour and goes down incredibly easy as a result of a smooth mouthfeel and a balance between gentle malt sweeteness and hop bitterness.

I added this beer, but was going to edit the Description that UnTappd used and, I presume, came from Garage Beer's website. But their Description was so accurate, that I didn't edit it. It is as honest a description from a micro that I can remember.
So good, in fact, that there is no need to write my own. However I will add that the drying sensation in the finish is quite accomplished, particularly in a refreshing lager. Balanced.
However I explain my excellent Overall rating as a result of Garage Beer being so prolific, some 350 brews... albeit many experimental or not making their core range and some 220 Active on BA. I also give good Overall Hugs for their creative labels and beautiful photography on their website. However, I could not find an "About Us" page so I cannot wax enthusiastic about what else they've done over their first decade. But please add an English translation button also. Salud y A La Teva Salut !

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
