The most hop-forward in our series of Super Saisons, Galaxy Dry Hopped Sunshower is juicy and herbal, yet dry and peppery on the finish. Beautifully haze-straw colored in appearance with an earthy, pineapple aroma, this is a farmhouse offering that will delight any hop-head. The spicy, fermentation-driven character of our farmhouse yeast is subdued by the intensity of the Galaxy hops, which impart strong flavors of grapefruit and peach.

Pours a lovely hazy yellow-gold color with a tall fluffy head of 2 fingers. Lots of nice lace on the glass as it recedes.
Tons of lemony hop on the nose with some honeydew, ripe grapefruit, passion fruit, and ripe "other" citrus.
Nice toasted biscuit malt coming forth with lots of nice peppery lemony galaxy hop, some orange peel, and then the sweet, silky peppery saison strain at the end. Lots of lemon pepper notes.
Feel is creamy and smooth, contrasting with a sharp and piking carbonation with a popping and slightly dry finish.
Overall, a really great saison with lots to offer. Definitely seek this out.

A:
PoursĀ a cloudy peach color with a finger-plus of head that soapily evaporates. Meh retention; not much lacing. (3.5)
S:
Spicy phenols intermingled with green citrus from the hops. (4.25)
T:
Pepper, earthy/oily hop bitterness, sugar cookie malt, light lemon zest and herbs, some booze. (4.25)
M:
Medium body with active carbonation and a dry finish. (4)
O:
A good hoppy saison.
It could look better but otherwise is a nice beer indeed. It is fruity and peppery with an herbal, green bitterness to keep it in check. The flavor is much more "saisony" than the smell with a little more of a doughy character coming through. Not the most drinkable at its ABV but not bad.
A tasty beer I'd have again. (4.25)

Tall can, 10/20/17 so a few months in the can
Pours heavily hazed, n creamy looking , lasting cap, leaves some spotty lace.
Yeasty, orangy notes on the nose.
Pleasing hopped up n fruity saison...oranges, lemons, light pepper, yeasty goodness...bring on the arugula, cheese and crusty bread.

16oz can dated 10/20/17.
Pours cloudy gold with a large, fluffy head of white. Plenty of lacing with decent retention. Aromatics lead off with a mix of white grapes, apples, pear bubblegum, and cloves. Medium bodied with a crisp mouthfeel. A bit tacky. Apples, grapes, banana, and cloves on the palate. Zero malt with a trace of honey and biscuits. Low bitterness and fairly dry. Finishes with plenty of Belgian phenols.
One of the better Sunhowers.

16 oz can from the brewery
Canned 10/20/17
Tasted 11/28/17
Pours a hazy straw yellow, bubbly white head that dissipates rapidly
Smells of Meyer Lemon, yeastiness, some hops
Taste slightly tart, medicinal; some yeast presence; hobs on the back end along with the pepper in the description
Mouthfeel is a little thin given the ABV and dry-hopping
A fun Saison on the Americanized side. Prefer mine closer to traditional. Wish I could compare to the base beer

Really hazy bright yellow color with slightly off-white head. Aroma has dank hops, herbal yeast notes and a touch of fermented fruits. Taste is sweet at first, fruity, slightly tart, yeasty but not cloying in any way. Medium body and carbonation. Really easy drinking for the high ABV.
