Permutation is our experimental series of small batch offerings, showcasing the unique visions and innovative concepts developed by our brewing and cellar crew.
For Permutation #68, we used a simple malt bill of Two Row, Flaked Oats, and Honey Malt. Additionally, we utilized Lactose or Milk Sugar to provide a silky smooth mouthfeel and a touch of sweetness. Lastly, we conditioned the beer on Madagascar Vanilla Beans and 900 pounds of freeze dried strawberries, or the equivalent of over 7200 pounds of fresh strawberries.
Permutation #68 pours an eye catching ruby-amber coloring with moderate haze. Intensely aromatic, the nose reveals strawberry sorbet, mixed berry jam, and vanilla gelato. Unabashedly sweet flavors of strawberry-rhubarb pie, crushed red berries, fruity breakfast cereal, and Italian water ice flood the palate and beckon you back for more. With a medium body and a creamy, luscious mouthfeel, Permutation #68 makes for an indulgent, enjoyable sip.
MALT: American Two Row, Flaked Oats, Honey Malt
HOPS: Hop Extract
ADDITIONAL INGREDIENTS: Strawberry, Vanilla, Lactose

Pours a foggy ruby-orange with a finger of khaki foam. It turns to a grapefruit ruby with an opaque consistency when the final couple ounces are poured into the glass. Aroma is heavy strawberry, lactose and vanilla bean, carrying an intense sweetness. Smells like a sugary yogurt, AE's Banana Strawberry yogurt in particular. Flavor profile is strawberry right up front, with intense lactose and vanilla bean on the backend. Alcohol is apparent through the cracks of sweetness. Mouth feel is fuzzy with a prickly effervescence on the back. It has a medium thickness. Overall, it's sugary, mildly hot, and fuzzy which makes for an intriguing experience, although a bit too sugary for balance.

16oz can dated 11/21/18.
Pours murky copper with small chunks. Minimal retention or lacing. Artificially sweet in the nose with shades of Strawberry and nougat. Medium bodied with a slick, chewy, syrupy mouthfeel. Sweet malt with sugar-dusted Sweet Tarts on the palate. Finishes funky, dirty, and sweet.

No. Just no.
This beer looks and tastes like someone had 12 strawberry milkshakes from McDonald's and then vomited into a can. It's disgustingly sweet and cloying. Please never release this beer again.

Hazy light amber color with almost no foam. Aroma has strawberry candy and some sweet, malty notes. Taste is sweet with strawberry candy notes and some herbal bitterness on the finish. Medium body with medium minus carbonation. Nice but seems a bit artificial and it's not very easy to drink.
