DDH Dot Ave is our poetic nod to the Nelson Sauvin hop. The densely hazy Double IPA presents a beautiful yellow color that toes the line between light straw and dark yellow. The aroma is dynamic, with each sip evolving as the glass warms. We're initially treated to grapefruit juice, lychee, and juicy mango, which is followed by grape skins, gooseberry, and a really pleasant muscat finish. Offering a medium-body, DDH Dot Ave maintains drinkability in spite of its palate-coating hop saturation.

Served in a tulip
Cloudy, bright honey yellow appearance. The completely opaque body was topped by a fluffy, bubbly, inch-tall crown that quickly dropped to a thick collar. No lacing whatsoever.
The aroma was outstanding. White grape notes dominated. Muscat grapes specifically. Really musty and winey. Some ripe mango was also detectable. There was a subtle dankness as well.
The flavor profile was very similar to the nose and nearly as stellar. Musty white wine notes came through big time. Muscat grapes for sure. Tangerine was noticeable in the center. Fairly tart and tangy. White grapefruit appeared as the beer moved along the palate. The beer finished with notes of pithy grapefruit rind and a moderate amount of lingering bitterness.
Excellent creamy, fluffy mouthfeel. Medium-light bodied for the style. The liquid contained a larger bubbled, greater-than-average carbonation that fluffed up nicely on the palate.
Nelson hops are far and away my favorite hop varietal, and Double Dry Hopped Dot Avenue was a total Nelson bomb. The musty muscat grape notes were perhaps more intense in this beer than in an other I have tried. This is definitely one of my favorite Trillium hoppy beers ever.
