I guess this is the Trillium one I have, even though there are apparently multiple beers with similar names and labels on both sides of this equation. It is confusing.
Tall can poured into a tulipc, this one is an opaque orange. It's orange juice with a thick, creamy head. Usual hazy IPA smell here - it's piney and citrusy, rather tropical. My nose is not good, but you could say a lot of things about this. The orange is obvious; it also makes me think of pineapple and coconut, however. Maybe some other things like mango. Taste is... well, very good. Fruit-forward with a pleasantly bitter aftertaste. Some winey white grape notes to go with the tropical fruit blend. Nice carbonation, nice body. Everything feels right on. Creamy and sweet.
Not the cheapest option at the store, but I knew I had to try it. Hard not to with those three breweries on the can. Not even much of an IPA guy but would drink this often if it was available.

Pours thick appearing cloudy yellow. Thin head no cap or lacing to speak of
Overripe peach and pineapple aroma
Taste follows nose, muted pineapple and peach and slightly bitter citrus rind, a hint of resin
Mouth feel is slightly heavy, a bit bit on the tongue, med carbonation finishes on the dry side
Overall it’s a nice collaboration beer, the 9% abv is well hidden, muted flavors don’t take away from the layers of this nicely crafted beer

Drank from a 1 pint can purchased at Trillium Brewing Company, Boston, MA
08/13/24
Served in a tulip
The beer poured an opaque, bright yellow-orange hue that was very reminiscent of orange juice. A frothy, near finger-tall, off-white crown topped the body and quickly dropped to a thin, lasting collar. Minimal streaky, drippy lacing trickled down the sides of the glass.
The aroma was really fruity and intense but not super complex initially. Like the appearance, the nose was very orange forward. Citra hops dominated. Some pineapple was noticeable as well. Bit of general tropical fruitiness too. As the beer sat, a punchy weed-like dankness came forth. Soon, however, the dankness dissipated.
The flavor profile was similar to the nose and nearly as impressive. Citra hops once again came through big time. Loads of juicy orange flesh. Bit of candied orange peel too. Pineapple notes appeared in the center. Sweet malts were noticeable as well. Bit of lemony tartness. Grapefruit and grapefruit peel appeared on the back end. More orange peel too. Touch of lingering pithy, rind-like bitterness after the swallow.
The mouthfeel was fantastic. Full bodied for the style. Creamy, soft and supple on the palate. The liquid contained a fine, moderate, tongue blanketing effervescence that turned the liquid super fluffy and smooth.
HDHC Like Like Whoa Whoa is an intense, citrus fruit-forward double IPA that really benefitted from a few weeks of rest in the fridge. My one big disappointment with it was that the Nelson Sauvin hops were hardly noticeable against the much more intense Galaxy and Motueka.

Pours a milky opaque yellow gold with a creamy frothy white foam head. Notes of concentrated crushed white grape, gooseberry, kiwi, white wine, lime, mojito, passionfruit, pineapple, mango, peach, orange citrus, grapefruit, sweet caramelized lightly toasty bready malt, with dank earthy herbal grassy resinous pine. Feels medium-full bodied, creamy smooth with moderate carbonation. Overall a really great super hoppy DIPA.
