Boston commutes can be brutal, except for those lucky enough to trade gridlock for the ferry, gliding across Boston Harbor on a traffic-free journey. That’s the true “Express Way.”
We channeled that same effortless vibe into Express Way IPA, crafted with New Zealand-grown Peacharine hops from our friends at Freestyle. Drawing inspiration from our trusted Street Series IPA formula of grist and dry-hopping, we’ve created a beer with bold, impactful characteristics.
Bursting with vibrant aromas of ripe peach and nectarine, it’s layered with zesty citrus notes that mirror on the palate. Smooth, balanced, and easy-drinking, with near-zero bitterness, it’s perfect for unwinding after the daily grind.

Liberty Dryville tapped an excellent glass. Drinks so smooth you have to remember it's 7.2%. Light haze, light smell of citrus/fruit. A+ for Trillium.

16 oz can dated 02/10/26
Pours cloudy opaque yellow gold with a dense creamy white foam head. Smells like peaches and cream, white wine grape, guava, passionfruit, pineapple, mango, orange citrus, grapefruit, lemon peel, lime, nectarine, apricot, stone fruit, melons, slight caramelized pale toasty bready crackery malts, and dank resinous floral earthy herbal grassy pine. Tastes like peaches, nectarine, apricot, stone fruit, white wine grape, guava, passionfruit, pineapple, tropical mango, orange citrus, white grapefruit, lemon peel, lime, melons, slight caramelized bready toasty pale crackery malts, and dank resinous floral earthy herbal grassy pine. Feels medium plus bodied, creamy smooth with moderate low carbonation. Overall a real nice hazy IPA with Peacharine hops.

Beer advocate review #2600
Brewers notes : This IPA features New Zealand-grown Peacharine hops from Freestyle Hops. As Peacharine's name suggest, Express Way present a nose of juicy stone fruit with undertones of citrus and a balanced bitterness. Boston commutes can be brutal, except for those lucky enough to trade gridlock for the ferry, gliding across Boston Harbor on a traffic-free journey. That’s the true “Express Way.”

On tap at the Brewhouse Grille in Camp Hill PA.
After reading the description of peacharine hops, we can definitely pick up peach aromas and taste.
I also get a drying white grape skin taste. Leah definitely gets stone fruit flavors.

This one really missed for me, a bit thin on hazy flavor and bite of bitterness to detract as well. Really found this one to be average at best for a $$$ hazy.

Hazy straw-orange pour. Fluffy white, lacing head. It has all the optics. Fruity nose of orange juice primarily. Flavor is just delightful--tangerine, peach (NZ Peacharine hops), citrus and stone fruit evolve beautifully throughout the tasting. Put the pedal to the metal on the Express Way and get some!

Cloudy, pale orange color. Big, white head. Tropical fruits and peaches dominate the aroma. Soft, juicy, and moderately sweet taste with balancing hoppy bitterness.

Pours a 1 finger frothy head with fair retention, soapy lacing, hazy cloudy pale orange color
Nose brings a lot of citrus, orange juice, tangerine, grapefruit, stone fruit with peach nectarine like, light doughy creamy malt,
Taste starts with the stone fruit, peach, nectarine, into citrus orange juice, tangerine, fair pithy citrus, getting a touch spicy green hop, creamy flaked proteins and creamy base malt, drier but soft finish, a bit more juicy citrus and green spicy hop lingering
Mouth is med bod, creamy juicy, a hint of alcohol warmth
Overall not bad, nicely juicy with citrus and stone fruit, hops are a bit green spicy from all that dry hopping, just the right amount of water softening minerals so no real extras, typical Trillium NEIPA

Appearance: Pours a hazy goldenstraw with a three finger head that collapses by half before settling in; a few shards linger
Smell: Peach and nectarine aromatics with a touch of mango and Clementine
Taste: Floral, peach and nectarine, up front, with some mango emerging in the middle; rather than bitterness, there is a strong Clementine orange flavor, after the swallow and into the finish
Mouthfeel: Meidum body and somewhat creamy with moderate carbonation
Overall: Normally, I like a bit more bitterness in my NE IPAs but I enjoyed this one after a long day of work
