North Stonington Lager is a tribute to our original vision of establishing a true New England Farmhouse brewery. Brewed in celebration of our 12th anniversary, this special lager features estate-grown corn from our farm in North Stonington, Connecticut.
Pouring a bright straw color, this lager offers a delicate yet expressive aromatic range. The first sip reveals notes of freshly baked biscuits, white bread, and lightly toasted corn chips. As it opens up, a floral-meets-grassy profile adds depth, complemented by a soft, welcomed bitterness. Light-bodied, thirst-quenching, and crisp on the finish, North Stonington Lager is a refreshing nod to our farmhouse roots.

Hazed yellow gold. Big adjunct malty aroma and flavor. Good balance with little to no hop character but not sweet. Medium to light bodied and fairly smooth for 5.2%. 12th Anniversary brew.

No can date
Pours a foamy creamy 1+ finger head with good retention, soapy lacing, clear golden straw color with streaming bubbles to reinforce the head
Nose brings pilsner malt, straw, grainy-sweet malt, straw, cereal, a bit of dough, fair floral herbal hops
Taste brings more cereal grainy-sweet doughy pilsner malt, straw, bready doughy corn-bread notes, fair herbal floral hops that are noble-like, a touch grassy, med bitterness, dry soft finish with med spicy hop bitterness lingering, long bitterness
Mouth is med bod, soft lager, med carb
Overall pretty nice lager, almost German pilsner like but nicely done

A very easy drinking and enjoyable brew. Almost a hybrid of a lager and pale ale. Slightly hazy golden color with ample carbonation and a frothy head. Bready aroma with lemon hints. Crackers and citrus fruit flavor with a dry finish. Light mouthfeel with lively carbonation.
