The beer pours a nice fluffy white that dissipates fairly quickly. The beer itself is a pretty nice to look at. It is a nice, clear beer with a shiny pale amber color that strongly resembles a nice apricot. It's nice to look at and definitely has that refreshing look to it.
The beer smell is also good.It a nice apricot smell with a slightly present smoke. The two notes work very well with each other even the smoke is stronger than the apricot.
The taste is good. The main note is a nice apricot that is present but neither overwhelming or artificial. Rather, it imparts a nice fruity sweetness with a light tart. Even though it's not as tart as one would expect from the style, it still has a light tart note from the apricot. There is a very light smoke note that works really well with the apricot and is pretty delicious.
The feel is good. It has a light body with tingling carbonation. There's a little bit of stickiness at the end but it's pretty good and refreshing on a nice, hot day.
Overall, this is a pretty good beer for the summer and one of the better ones that use apricot as an ingredient. It still resembles a nice berliner weisse that borders on a good fruit beer. It's definitely worth heading to the brewery for this one alone.
