Vanish Beer

32 oz. crowler poured 24 hours after filling into a tulip style pint glass.

It pours clear, coppery caramel in color with an inch of red tinted off-white foam and projects a strong malty nose that carries through in the malt forward taste that is doughy with a mild yet satisfying hop bitterness. The body is on the light side of medium with medium carbonation and starts mildly crisp before finishing smooth and clean.
I think the hop flavor is a tad weak but I found this to be an easy drinking and very enjoyable traditional amber.

 

 

Clear reddish amber appearance with a medium size off white head and a fair amount of lacing. Muted, bready aroma that obscures the hops. You know they're in there, just hard to identify; Floral, maybe. Flavor of caramel malts that pair up a little better with the hops. Spicier, fruitier but still focused on the malts. Soft, almost creamy, mouthfeel with light carbonation.
