32 ounce crowler from the brewery.
Poured one hour after it was packaged into a one liter dimpled mug.
Pours gold with a little chill haze but is very clear after warming. The one finger of white fizzy foam reduces to a sparse cap after one to two minutes and leaves a minimal amount of lace.
The nose is moderate in strength and grainy and spicy at the pour. The grain aroma fades while the spicy note lingers. After warming, a toasty bread aroma appears. Tasting much as it smells, toasted grain and herbal/spicy hop, it is dry, well attenuated and finishes with a mineral tang. Bitterness is very low. Mouthfeel is crisp, light and clean.
Well named as it is definitely light and clean.
