well made beer, but as much as anything its a showcase of quality ingredients, well proportioned of course, and this is well ahead of the curve, but i love this italian pils malt, this mix of hops, especially the hallertau blanc, and overall this is one i would buy on the regular if it were available where i live, cool to see just how far these guys have come in terms of quality over the years, making some nice beers across a range of styles now, and being recognized for it. this looks immaculate, absolutely perfectly crystal clear, very light blonde, high shine, with a peaky layer of big white bubbles more than an inch high in places, looks great in the glass. the nose is quite subtle, at least while its cold, a little sweetness and sort of protein richness to me from the grain, lighter than expected and to me lighter than other examples of the style, assuming this is made with eraclea malt, are there others? the hops have some bitterness but also soft white grape, white currant, and dried lawn clippings, fresh but subtle, somewhat distinctive, but all in balance, white floral notes as it warms, very pleasant, good minerality, clean all the way, not a ton from the yeast. the flavor is tidy too, very professional here and nothing is overdone, its drinkable and simple, but also unique from other pils types, i think a great example of this style, even without it being overtly hoppy, the hops do flavor this quite a lot. springy herbal notes and freshness up front, toasty substantial grain flavor but still light in body, an almost salinity to it, its so fast finishing. the ferment is quick and maybe faintly bready but its snappy and well lagered, subtle dankness as this warms, very mild overall beer though, pleasant and refreshing with real peppy carbonation, expertly crafted. i get it.

A lovely beer. A clean and crisp grainy pale lager paired a bright floral hop note that ultimately conveys the impression of an early summer meadow. Wonderful stuff

Beautiful golden yellow liquid capped by a sturdy white cap. Very enticing beer.

Nose is bright with crackery malt overlaid with green apple and floral hop notes.

Taste is crisp and refreshing with lemon and citrus flowers/nectar leading the show with a light fresh grain berry note playing second fiddle. Very summery.

Mouthfeel is stellar. Super light and crisp and refreshing.

Thanks, Nick!

Got a can of this and some other good stuff from Nick. I’ve had a few Westbound & Down from him and have liked them all, so was looking forward to this one. Untappd description was “A bright, floral hop aroma meets crisp crushable Pils from the use of Hallertau Blanc, Saphir, and Saaz with Italian grown pilsner malt.”

Poured a medium yellow color with five fingers of rocky-to-frothy white head. Could see a steady stream of bubbles, looking faster in the middle of the glass and a little slower along the sides. Excellent foamy spotty lacing. Perfect foamy retention. (Sight - 4.75)

Smelled that Saphir right away. Also tangerine, orange, mango, purple grape, cotton candy, floral, viney berry, hints of Hallertau Blanc and grass. Wasn’t getting much Saaz. Not quite as good from the can. (Smell - 4.25)

Taste wasn’t quite as good as the nose will still legit. In order got Saphir, tangerine, orange, mango, purple grape, cotton candy, floral, viney berry, hints of Hallertau Blanc, grass, Saaz and lingering black pepper. (Taste - 4.25)

Medium body. Oily-to-thin texture. Lively carbonation. Clean, crisp finish. (Feel - 4.50)

Slightly underrated this, but it was a tremendous pilsner. Glad I got to try it. (Overall - 4.50)

Pours as expected, with tremendous foaming.

This goes down all too easy. Lightly hopped on the nose with a crisp hoppy kick on the sip. Delightful pilsner.

16oz canned 9-29-21, opened 11-6-21.
2 1/2 finger dense white head. Excellent retention and leaves sudsy lacing behind.
Straw gold, bright with great clarity and plenty of visible carbonation.
Citrus, orange blossom in the nose along with a powdery floral note.
Some grass / spice with light citrus and stone fruit flavors.
Light body with a medium plus carbonation and crisp mouthfeel. Dry finish, refreshing with high drinkability.
Outstanding.

Crystal clear straw color with plenty of bubbles and a thick, rocky white head. Great retention and lacing.

Aroma of grass, slight lemon zest, white cracker, honey, and white pepper.

Flavor of fresh cut grass, mineral water, lemon pith, white cracker, and white pepper. Mild lingering bitterness. Clean.

Excellent pils.

16 oz can with no date.
Clear straw color with a half inch of dense head. Just how I want my pilsners to look. Very floral aroma. Does not have the classic Noble hop flavor and that is why I don't like it that much. Hops listed are Hallertau Blanc, Saphir, and Saaz. This is fruity with berries instead of peppery and herbal that I prefer. With hop flavors like this I think pale ale and not pilsner. The malt is nicely dry and overall the flavor is clean. Light body with lively carbonation.

No dating on the 16 ounce can.

It pours a brilliantly clear straw gold with an inch of foam, does okay with the lacing.

Noble hops like nose with some grass, spicy, toasted malt.

Taste is assertive with the Noble hops, medium grass, toasted malt, comes across ass dry overall but has some juicy "moments". Pretty darn impressive.

Wonderful mouthfeel, the hops coat the tongue and carry through the finish.

So so delicious!
