Tinde’e, meaning “Great Lake”, is the original name given by the Yellowknives Dene First Nation people for Great Slave Lake, the deepest and second largest lake in North America, located in the heart of the Northwest Territories.

Tinde’e Imperial Saison celebrates the indescribably magnitude and beauty of Tinde’e and the communities that share its waters.

Poured from 473mL can into a glass tumbler. No date on the can but I picked it up at the brewery yesterday.

Appearance: pale golden-yellow hue with a dash of haze and a finger of frothy ivory foam.

Smell: very sweet and quite boozy, with a kinda fruity but also a little phenolic aroma. It is honestly … not my favorite.

Taste: kinda concordant with the aroma. Sweet malt with a little bit of kinda-nice fruity Belgian character, but also plenty of phenolic character and a dose of booze.

Mouthfeel: medium body with a decent carbonation and creaminess.

Overall: just not really my jam.
