2025 canning; consumed on 10/28/2025
Pours a clear, dark copper hue capped with a finger of silky, off-white foam; solid head retention leaves a paper-thin cap and collar along with a haphazard spread of webby lacing around the walls of the glass.
Aroma presents a bit of fresh pumpkin pie filling to start, steadily deconstructing to undertones of nutmeg, brown bread, and cinnamon-dusted pie crust; fragrant and engaging.
Taste offers a tinge of bread crust and malty subtext toning charry nutmeg/cinnamon into a toasted pumpkin overlay, settling to a faded phasing of fall spice through the swallow.
Mouthfeel shows a light body and a spritzy fluff of moderate carbonation; crisp, semi-dry textures throughout complement a malt inflection developing hints of grit ultimately tingling the back end of the palate.
Poignant in effect and delivering as promised; exemplary execution as a singularly focused pumpkin ale.

From the pint can, it pours a clear orangey color with a nice white head that slowly reduces. Pumpkin spices and some bitterness in the nose. The mouth follows with a sharp tasting (probably from the rye mentioned on the can) slightly bitter flavor with pumpkin spice notes and a mild slightly bitter aftertaste.
