Light straw colored, effervescent, but no significant head.
It took me a while to nail down what I thought contributed to the smooth creamy aroma and flavor, but I think I've got it. It's kind of like soft banana peel, in a good way. It's a very round, softly fruity scent that lends itself very well to smoothing out the flavor. A hint of vanilla as well.
All of their beers are super crisp, light, generously carbonated, and go great with their very thick, topping heavy, chewy crusted pizzas.
Funny enough, this is my favorite cream ale out there. I haven't had many of the style, and normally I'm not a fan of it, but it is done very well by this fantastic little pizza shop.
