Did this beer come out of the gate surprisingly confident or what.
Dark golden brown, with a very substantial, imposing, uncooperative beige head. But not in a bad way.
Despite it being lower in alcohol, I think this is definitely their heaviest beer. They do a stout, and a higher alcohol IPA, but this brown is a more formidable brew, easily.
Nutty and roasty, it reminds me more of a good porter with some honey and a slight hint of sweet fruit. Probably my favorite darker hued beer of theirs thus far.
