Served on tap in a pint glass
Appearance – the beer is served a clear golden amber color with a tiny fizzy white foam. The head fades almost instantly leaving just a touch of lace on the sides of the glass.
Smell – The aroma of the brew is very light overall with some hints of graininess and a touch of breadiness. Along with these smells comes a touch of must and hay.
Taste – The taste begins with a light grainy and just barely roasted malt flavor. There is a touch of a caramel and light fruit flavor of peach and apricot upfront which get slightly stronger as the taste moves forward. Along with these tastes comes a little bit of a citrus and hay hop taste that with the rest of the flavors leave one with a nice crisp and easy drinking taste to linger on the tongue.
Mouthfeel – The body of the brew is rather light and thin with a carbonation level that is rather high. For the style and the tastes the feel is great and makes for a very easy sipper.
Overall – A very easy drinking session style lager with a good deal of flavor for its light abv. profile.
