Caveat,as always: I rate beers the way I do on Untappd.

Another caveat: The label says it's a cold IPA, Beer Advocate calls am American IPA.

Pours pale. Sam Adams glass.

There's a fruity aroma, but it seems muted.

Some subtle citrus notes along with some piney notes.

It's light, but still has more body than your typical IPA. There seems to be more malt. But it's not more malt as in sweeter like some IPAs where they're trying to counter the big hops. It provides more body but not more sweetness.

I have not had a lot of cold IPAs but if they are all like this, it's a style I'll embrace.

Gorgeous, almost translucent gold elixir with a immensely confident head. 3 fingers of firm fluff forced me to slow my roll, er pour. Solid retention. Enjoyed smelling the cap for a bit as it slowly retreated to a firm finger in height. Surprisingly the lacing was on the lighter side.
Smell is a straight up pop of pine and rising with a kiss of orange zest. Solid.
Taste is lighter than what the nose hinted at, but she is still firm. A nice piney resin note hints at some weed, but backs off. Very subtle orange rind and a hint of herbal pepper, maybe rye make an appearance.
Mouthfeel is light to medium, fairly smooth, with a nice firm bitterness on the back end.
Overall, quite the nice older style take on an American IPA.
