Red IPA
It may be easier to put a man on the red planet, than brew a beer that is the perfect red color. We went for it, and loaded this IPA with a fruity expiremental hop that gives off sweet fruit and melon aromas.

12-14oz snulip at the Oak Brook location.
Hazy reddish amber, small head, lots of fine, slow carbonation makes it look thick and mysterious. Smell is caramel and toffee, pine and grapefruit rind.
Taste is both sweeter and more bitter than I was expecting, lacks something but I can't quite name it. Love the toffee and earthy notes, a little nuttiness. Love the resin and pine bitterness. Something kind of watery maybe is what's making me say "something seems missing."
Mouthfeel is light, dry, maybe a bit on the thin side. Overall, pretty good, though not killer.
