Poured from the can into a Libbey style pilsner glass.
Unfitered body of muted dull brass, with a hint of clarity towards the bottom. Good rising carbonation reaching to a simple three finger bone white head, that actually hangs around with a slow dissolve.
Solid clean aroma, filling with light touches of bakery dough malt, mild sensing herbal hop, and minimal hints of sweetness. Pretty straightforward sensing pilsner.
Palate comes with ease. Nice full bodied hints of doughy bread, almost hinting like cake, then a good surprising unexpected touch of lime and lemon to citrus zest flavor. More of a grapefruit oil finish that really lingers through a nice supportive malt body, with a very citrus hop presence. Clean sensing with a balance of brightness and malt thickness that seems very balanced.
Kind of a surprising hop profile, but a pretty solid pils.
