Taste the past, and I will show you the future. At one time in history, ‘ale’ referred to a fermented beverage without the use of hops, while ‘beer’ was reserved for ale brewed solely with hops. The blend of herbs used to bitter and flavor the beverage, known as gruit, became a closely guarded secret for producing fine ales. Fruity, floral, herbal, and enlightening, this version is based on a Belgian Braggot and will take you places. Sit back beside along yourself and enjoy the ride . .

Served on tap into a tulip glass.
A- Poured a reddish brown with white soapy head that left some chunky lace.
S- Lots of honey sweetness and floral notes.
T- Honey sweetness, floral notes, sweet berry notes, citrus, jasmine, mint, tea, and belgian yeast.
M- Seltzer carbonation, medium to fuller bodied, slightly sticky, no alcohol warming, and dry finish.
O- This is such a unique beer. I have never had a gruit before. Lots of herbal, floral, spice, and tea notes. Lots of flavors in here that I can't put a finger on. It is definitely worth a try.
