The Polar Melt APA was my first beer of the evening at Falling Sky.
Served in a real pint glass the beer is a chill hazed copper with a clingy beige head.
Aroma of grains and pine.
This is right in the wheelhouse for the style. Moderate pine & citrus bitterness balanced by caramel malts and something almost sweet in the finish. Becomes bitterer as you work through the beer.
Nice mouth a bit oily and coating
If I lived closer this would be in the regular rotation.
