On tap at the brewpub in Eugene.
A: a decent tan head leaves some sticky lacing. Clear but nearly opaque dark brown/mahogany.
Aroma: mix of medium- and dark-malts with a hint of coffee.
Flavor: Mix of medium- and (mostly) dark-malts with a faint note of spicy hops. Hint of coffee.
Feel: near medium body with medium soft carbonation.
O: Rich, dark-roasted version of the style.

Served on tap into a pint glass.
A- Poured dark brown with off-white frothy head that left minimal lace.
S- Massive aroma of roasted malt, roasted coffee, Dr. Pepper, and juicy fruit notes. Very roasty and juicy aroma.
T- Huge roasted malt and roasted coffee notes, big Dr. Pepper character, juicy fruit notes, and brown sugar notes.
M- Quite smooth up front with lots of carbonation on from the middle of the mouthfeel to the end, quite dry.
O- One of the best brown ales I have had. The style is not one that I try too often but this one is really impressive with its big roasty and juicy flavor notes.
