Hazy, cloudy, yet with bright golden coloring, bold white head, slims down, but stays.
Nose starts out wild and funky, all orange peel and lemon. wild & stinky. Cat pee, barnyard, all of that. Horseshoe nail polish. Eau de funky feet. And I can dig it.
In the mouth: fresh (however you want to spell it), brisk, clean, light-bodied and refreshing easy-drinker. The tartness is just right here, just enough to keep you coming back to the pint. I like this; good beer and you can drink it. Bright fruit, manageable sour/tart, more orange comes through, more lemon and lime. Exquisitely likable.

Poured out a hazy, light golden color with a bubbly head of foam. It smelled slightly phenolic with lemon and other tart fruits. Tasted of subtle tartness (lemon) with a kiss of caramel sweetness.

Just didn't think there was much here....honestly thought it was a cousin of Miller Lite.....I like Miller Lite, but when paying a premium for craft I expect a little more.

On tap at modist. White head. Clear golden color. Very light bodied but a fair amount flavor. Some like citrus and tartness. Green apple skins. Pretty clean.

im not sure this is so much an american wild ale as it is a kettle soured light beer, bit whatever the listing says and whatever it really is (almost assuredly the latter), its great, especially this time of year, and it has gotten much more refined since they first opened. drinks kind of like a subtle hoppy berliner, with a very clean lactic lemony sour profile thats very mild, and just bursting with new world hop additions that must be all late kettle or dry hopped, because bitterness is super low, and this juicy melon and citrus profile abounds in the nose. my favorite aspect of this is how low the acidity and abv are, if this were any more sour, it would ruin the wonderful crushable nature it has, and its perfectly refreshing without pushing into that alienating sourness realm. the hops are great here too, tough to pin down varietals, but maybe something australian like a galaxy, it has that light but zippy brightness and floral quality. if the carbonation was ramped up just a tiny bit more, it would really make this the perfect summer drink. as it is, its one of the best (and most refined and complete) beers these guys have going right now. delicious.

Slightly tart aroma of lemon, citrus and tropical notes. Nice refreshing flavor profile of lemon, melon, and light orange. Finish is lightly tart with a slight saliency. Light body and refreshing carbonation with a dry, tart finish. Not really a Wild or Sour Ale; almost a cross between a Gose and a Pale Ale.
