if these guys werent famous before because of their mash filter and innovative brews, they certainly are now with this one, with bud coming after them in the most awesome of ways. a town crier came to complain about the name, if you dont know the story, look it up, its incredible! the cool thing though, is that the beer is actually awesome, perhaps the best beer i have had from these guys so far! its amazing hazy ipa, entirely mosaic driven but super juicy and fresh, and for being dry hopped, its as flavorful as it is aromatic. cut pineapple and lemon, passion fruit and lupulin goodness, none of the cat pee thing we sometimes get from this varietal, and supported by a wonderfully fresh, fluffy, and starchy grain base, so smooth and mellow and dry, but providing an expert balance. its cool that the beer that got the on the national map is this good, i am stoked for them, great people up in there! as mosaic goes, this is up there with the best of them, its absolute essence on display here, so fresh and vital, leafy and green, and juicy. one of my favorite cloudy ipa types from the whole year, and 2017 was certainly the year of haze! i really hope they keep making this...
