I tried this at the brewery whilst in town for a work conference. The beer poured a clear amber and with no head and no lacing. The scent had an old fashioned notes. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink with old fashion and orange peel presence. The mouthfeel was lighter in body with flat carbonation. Overall its an interesting beer.

On-tap at Modist Brewing Co., Minneapolis, MN
A: The beer is crystal clear amber yellow in color and has no visible carbonation or head.
S: Light aromas of orange-like liqueur are present in the nose.
T: The taste follows the smell and has flavors of orange liqueur along with underlying hints of malts.
M: It feels full-bodied on the palate and has a low to moderate amount of carbonation. The alcohol lends some warming to the mouthfeel.
O: This is a nice beer too sip. It definitely tastes like it is very strong, but it isn't overwhelming.

On tap. Barrel aged old fashioned ale.
Off white head. Caramel copper brown color.
This is incredible. Brown sugar, orange peel, bourbon, oak, vanilla, toffee. It definitely tastes like an old fashioned, but it still tastes like beer. Crazy how they made this taste the way it does. Sweet, but smooth and warming. I honestly want to drink tons of this even at 20%. Modist you’ve done it again!
