My last of the three waxed 2018 Lord Humungus; this one yellow. Yellow, brick-like, rubbery, digit-endangering wax. Modist. Knock that stupidity the hell off. 750ML bottle with at least another six or seven ounces of wax.
Black steel in the glass. And like all the Humungi, it smells like raw sugar cut with brown sugar & multiplied by six sugar times. Nuts appear briefly & flame out.
Lord Humungus – Yellow Wax is a pastry stout to its malty base. Huge. Thick. Sweet. Loaded with stuff. Humungus jolt of vanilla up front, backed by liquid brown sugar, molasses, & decadent chocolate without a hint of bitterness. Rye barrel shows lightly mid-palate, along with a touch of coconut, & finishes with world-ending sweetness.
I tried to find a Humungus joke in here somewhere, but hey, I’m not magic. Not quite red wax, but still a very good brew.

On tap. Tan head that fades. Black color. Thick.
Lots of coconut all around. The macadamia nut blends in. Vanilla adds sweetness. Lots of cocoa and chocolate. Light rye spice. Lightly warming whiskey. Very nice offering.
