Hazy and fuzzy, golden/orange hue, slim white head.
In the nose: soft, gauze-like, muted citrus and pine.
In the mouth: Brief sting of bitterness before the juice chimes in. Bright, shiny, citrusy flavors reign, bursting upon the palate. Minor bitterness, clean malt texture, several layers of deliciousness. Juicy turns to dry in the finish, rounding out wonderfully.
This is tasty stuff, and I like it. I normally eschew the NE style, but I had to check out a Modist beer without lactose in it, for once.
One thing's for sure, I certainly can't subsist on a diet of this stuff. There are too many beer styles on earth to merely dine upon DDH hazy IPAs. 'nuff sed.

A: The beer is very hazy pale dark whitish yellow in color. It poured with a quarter finger high white head that left a narrow collar around the edge and lots of lacing down the sides of the glass.
S: Moderate aromas of gooseberries are present in the nose along with notes of lychee.
T: The taste follows the smell and has some additional hints of lime.
M: It feels medium-bodied and a bit juicy on the palate with a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: From start to finish, this New England IPA is all about the Citra hops.
Serving type: can

On tap on release day.
Hazy yellow color. White head.
Tastes kind of watery compared to other stuff they make. Very lemony and citrusy. Earthy hops. Light bodied. Light flavored.
