Pours black with a dark tan head. Smell is coffee and chocolate. Taste has a coffee/chocolate start with some roasted malts some vanilla and nuts. Mouth sweet with medium carbonation no coconut detected. Was a struggle to finish a pint.

Can. Tan head with lace. Black color.
Mini liquid mounds bar. Cocoa, coconut, and almonds. Melted Hershey’s chocolate. Has some bitterness to the chocolate up front that fades.
Fairly smooth. Medium bodied. A fun variant, but I’m not sold on it.
Edit: as I drink more of it, it becomes kind of bland and tough to drink

L: Black, doesn't allow any light through it. Decent head that takes a bit of time to dissipate. Leaves nice lacing.
S: Primarily ground coffee beans and butterscotch, no coconut on the nose; slightly nutty.
F/T: Medium low carbonation, slightly sticky sweet; a bit thinner than expected. Mainly rich notes of dark chocolate, which leaves a nice finish.
This is a good beer but it's lacking the nutty coconut almond joy flavor I was expecting.
