Can you just hold for a Soft Minute? Like, you know, it might be 50 seconds, or it may be 1 minute 27 seconds, it may even be a whole month. It’s hard to say how long you’ll have to hold for this foeder Lager, but if you could hold for a Soft Minute, promise it’ll be worth the wait.

Introducing Soft Minute, an Oak-Aged Single Malt Pilsner with a 100% malted wheat mash. Hopped and dry hopped with Triple Pearl, our hand-selected Citra and Cryo Citra then lagered and aged in our oak foeder.

Pale yellow body with the barest bit of cloudiness; thick and lasting white head with a dense sudsiness; billowy clumps of foam coat the glass. Fine aroma; light cereal grain scent with slight herbal undertones; dry hard wood; earthy. Outstanding taste; bread crust and cracker; mild hop bitterness initially, building up to a moderate intensity towards the finish; slight flavor of oak. Light to medium in body; fairly crisp; moderate wetness with a somewhat dry edge at the finish.

I see on the can that this beer has a "100% malted wheat mash", hence the cereal grain and cracker notes. This is a fine looking beer, has a nice smell, and some excellent taste and mouthfeel. A nicely done, well-crafted pilsner based on wheat.

A: The beer is slightly hazy yellow in color and has a light to moderate amount of visible carbonation. It poured with a quarter finger high white head that died down, consistently leaving a thin layer of bubbles covering the surface and lots of lacing down the sides of the glass.
S: Light aromas of lime are present in the nose.
T: The taste follows the smell and has flavors of lime along with notes of oak. There is a light amount of bitterness.
M: It feels nearly medium-bodied on the palate and has a moderate amount of carbonation with hints of dryness in the mouthfeel.
O: I thought that the hops and oak aging helped to soften up the maltiness that normally accompanies beers in this style.

Can. White head. Lace. Clear straw golden color.

Grassy, floral, crisp, clean, light bitterness. Biscuit and toasted malts. Oaky, but no vanilla.

Very soft/clean feel. Smooth, light bodied. Lots of flavor. Another nice Pilsner from Modist.
