Modist/Drekker Collab Death Sauce Painkiller Tropical Sour, 7.5% ABV. Pours hazy orange with a slight ring of light-orange bubbles that left no lacing. Aroma is pineapple, orange, brown sugar, nutmeg and vanilla. Taste follows, plus coffee and coconut, nutmeg very present, quite sweet, slightly tart. Decent mouthfeel if a bit thin, overall excellent. I could do without the coffee in a sour, lost points for that. Would be a true painkiller if it was Rum BA.

A - Pours out super hazy, with only a limited translucence, and an off white head that fades into a thick persistent cap. Lots of lacing.

S - This is an odd one. Tropical fruit out front, candied citrus, apricot and mango fruit chews, a hint of pith and zest and Tang-like note.

T - The open reminds of apricot fruit leather, with concentrated fruit flavors, sweet, with a bit of tropical juice in the middle. The coffee comes in as well, subtle earthiness and light roast that runs into a hint of orange creme in a quick fading close. Lick the lips after the finish and you get a bit of dried fruit. Pretty surprising.

M - Moderate weight, mild carbonation, and definite stickiness. The result is a nectar like feel, quite a bit thicker than your standard brew.

O - An enjoyable trip, way outside what I expect in a brew, even a kettle sour. It definitely works, but is not one I want every day.

A bit tart with lots of flavors going on. Made with milk sugar, pineapple, orange, coconut, brown sugar, coffee, nutmeg, and vanilla. Pick up a little on the coffee but the milk sugar and fruits are absolutely delicious!

Pours a murky dark orange gold with a minimal white head. It smells like sweet brown sugar with hint sof vanilla and notes of orange and pineapple upfront. The taste is truly incredible. The sweet caramel from the brown sugar is at the start with the perfect pineapple and orange taste to compliment it and it finishes on a perfect vanilla spiced note with just a hint of sourness on the finish. Overall great and I would definitely buy it again if I saw it.

A: The beer is hazy and a darker shade of yellow in color. It poured with a short white head that left some lacing down the sides of the glass and a narrow collar around the edge of the glass.
S: Light aromas of pineapple are present in the nose along with notes of coffee beans.
T: The taste has flavors of pineapple along with notes of brown sugar and coffee beans
M: It feels light- to medium-bodied on the palate and has a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: This beer was was tropical and a bit sweet with interesting notes of coffee.

Ordered from Tavour and poured into a pint glass. Pain killing, I don’t think so. It is a weird beer. If you like a light “grandma’s old coffee” with fruit and some vanilla, this would be your beer. For me its a strange flavor profile.

Look: Hazy orange with inch head and great lacing as we drank it.
Smell: tropical fruit, day old coffee and spice.
Taste: Sweet tropical fruit to start, then old coffee.
Mouthfeel: Full, smooth mouthfeel (probably the lactose and vanilla)

The beer is very drinkable, but the flavor profile is strange combining coffee and fruit, just saying.

Can. Hazy pineapple orange juice color. Eggshell white head with lace.

Pineapple, orange, and coconut for days. Lactose and creaminess. Vanilla sweetness. The coffee shows well. Very unique and very flavorful. Smooth and tiki like.

Pours a cloudy golden color with an eggshell beige fresh head. Smell is pineapple and coconut up front with vanilla and cinnamon. Tate is pineapple forward with coconut and citrus, nice hints of vanilla and cinnamon with slight nutmeg in the finish. Mouth feel is tropical fruity like a pina colada some tartness and spice in the finish. If you like Pina Colada you will like this.
