16 oz can into a nonic pint glass.
L: SRM 9 Pours a radiant amber color with some yeast and sediment in suspension with small chunks settling at the bottom,
has a large firm white head with VG retention and a cap, lots of fine steady carbonation bubbles, medium lacing with thick banding. Foam gets off-white over time.
S: Light fruits, a hint of bready malts, has a mysterious funk. Fruit bread aroma overall.
T: Bready malts, gently sweet mixed fruit tastes, pine resin which lingers long. It has a nice fruit bread aftertaste.
F: Fairly standard and lightly smooth medium-bodied mouthfeel with a medium length finish that is lightly drying.
O: Drinks very easy, has a bit too much sediment for the style IMHO but the taste and feel are good. Well hidden ABV. It is good in its style.

Modist Day of Another Dream WCIPA is a hybrid IPA, more of a California IPA with juicy fruity tropical and orange combined with higher than needed pine resiny notes that gave it a cloying bitterness. Feel is good with balanced light-medium body. A decent hybrid IPA with an unfortunate green hop, resin bite that cuts the good hop characteristics.

Modist's New England IPA re-done as a West Coast -style? Seems right up my alley, eh? Let's find out:
Absolutely clear, (I'm proud of them, they pulled it off. Not a lot of hazy breweries can do that.) Bright golden hue, slim white head, looking the part.
In the nose: plenty of citrus, partnered with pine.
In the mouth: Juicy. fruity citrus-y hop flavors abound on the palate: orange, lime, a smattering of grapefruit, a whisper of tangerine. And a trace of bitterness. Light bodied, with a soft finish. A bit too much sweetness detected in the flavor, here, with hardly any of the trademarked bitter kick of a real West Coast India Pale Ale.
How I wish they could have pulled it off, but this is so far away from it's goal, I'm let down. As and average IPA, it's okay. As advertised, as a West Coast style, it's a deep disappointment. Eh.

Pours a mostly clear light orange color with a thin white head . Smell is tropical and fruity. Taste is very good with tropical fruit citrus mango and pine resins. mouth feel has some front end sweetness with deceny bitterness in the finish, Modist says this is a West Coast version of a NEIPA, whatever it is i thought it was tasty.

On tap. Fairly clear golden color. Off white head with lace.
Supposedly the west coast version of dream yard, but it’s still fairly juicy and tropical. Maybe it’s a bit more green and hoppy in a traditional sense. It’s a solid ipa.
