Introducing Esoteric Eclecticism, a very special Double Dry Hopped Oak-Aged Pilsner that we made with our friends at Cerebral Brewing in Denver. This Pilsner blends German, New Zealand and Italian style Pilsners with tropical and fruity IPA hops. Brewed with Bohemian and Eraclea pilsner malt, flaked oats, hopped & double dry hopped with our hand-selected Citra cryo, Citra, Nelson Sauvin & Simcoe.

Cloudy yellow pour with two fingers of white foam. Hop forward for the style nose, getting orange, grapefruit, lychee, white grape, and lime with light pine and grass, hints of grain and maybe woodchips, had to really sniff for the subtle besides the hops. Hops and the oak work really well together, in the taste odd but good. The oak has a certain chippiness to it while the hops take on an earthiness while blossom ripe fruit in a rewarding way. Feel is large on the palate for the style, hops are big, malts are big, oak is dense, and the yeast is even heavier than expected. Somehow it works, though not prototypical in any way

A: The beer is rather hazy whitish yellow in color and has a moderate amount of carbonation. It poured with a finger high white head that has excellent retention properties and also left lots of lacing down the sides of the glass.
S: Light to moderate aromas of gooseberry and grainy malts are present in the nose.
T: The taste follows the smell and has additional notes of lychee and hints of white wine with a light amount of bitterness. The finish makes your mouth a bit dry.
M: It feels light- to medium-bodied on the palate and has a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: This is an interesting hybrid pilsner beer that showcases the different hops but still tastes like a pilsner.

16oz can. Stamped canning date on can bottom is '06/11/21'.
Cloudy, straw colored body. One finger of white head, which recedes to bubbly, thin cap. Leaves some rings of lacing.
Aroma is fruity with lemon and light orange/grapefruit. Oats in the background.
Taste is based with solid pilsner malts and oats. Overall kind of dry, with the squeezed expression of hops being muted semi sweet fruit - lemon, orange and grapefruit. Aftertaste is the dry remnants of the flavor components.
Medium mouth feel. Dry in the mouth. Good carbonation.
Interesting twist on a pilsner, that is very drinkable. Sip after sip after sip.

Can. Lightly cloudy yellow gold. White head.

A very complex and flavorful pils. Lemon and zest. Earthy and citrusy. Bready and biscuity malts. Has a slight tropical fruit vibe going. Very tasty pils.

Pours a clear golden color with a small white head and lacing. Smell has herbal spicy with fruity hops. Taste has a German Pils taste its noble with grassy floral hops but its a hybrid has some berries and white wine notes some Smokey wood also . A crisp mout feel with a dry finish grassy floral and delicious.
