Modist Dream Yard NEIPA, 7.1% ABV. Pours hazy orange with a five-finger white head that left great lacing. Aroma is citrus. Taste follows, slightly sweet, slightly bitter. Decent mouthfeel, overall excellent.

I tried a 4oz pour of this beer off the tapper at the downtown Minneapolis location whilst in town for a trade expo. It poured a hazy golden with white head that left some lace. The scent had tropical fruit notes. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink with bright malt base with sweet tropical citrus fruit presence. The mouthfeel was medium in body with good carbonation. Overall it is a great beer.

From a 16oz can dated 03/23/23. Pours an amber gold color with only mild haziness. Pleasant nose and palate with tropical notes. A nice but unremarkable New England IPA. Certainly not in the same elite level as Tree House, Equilibrium and other top makers of truly hazy IPAs

A - Opaque dark orange gold color with dense, soapy white lacing.
S - Big dank pineapple aroma with some slight spiciness, and some tropical fruit.
T - Big dank pineapple presence rules this beer from start to finish followed with peppery pineapple rind, mango, and guava. Overall flavor is resiny and fruity with a touch of floral. This beer ends on the sweeter side with very low bitterness.
M - Thick and chewy as most New England styles are.
O - Very solid and dig the pineapple.

This one from Modist Brewing is really impressive. Poured into a 13 oz Nordic pint glass canned 6/21/21. Pours a dark hazy yellow with a finger sticky white head that leaves a thin wall of lace, with excellent retention. 4.5
Aroma ripe melon, passionfruit, Dank marijuana, apricot, and some white grapefruit rind. 4.25
Taste follows cantaloupe, passionfruit, apricot, marijuana, and a little hint of grapefruit bitterness. 4.25
Mouthfeel is above medium, a tad sticky not dry, soft gentle carbonation, and at 7.1% ABV it is big on flavor, but easy going down. 4.5
Overall this is really impressive, I am glad I grabbed this one when I left Minnesota. 4.25
