From a 16oz can:
Appearance: Dark brown, good head.
Smell: Roasty.
Taste: Roasty, creamy, nutty, hints of caramel candy, smooth and easy drinking.
Overall: My tour around local Minnesota dark lagers continues, this collab from Modist and Bauhaus is pretty good but not as complex tasting as Fair State's version. Still, it is nice and flavorful and easy to drink. Worth seeking out.

16oz can from Tavour. Dark brown pour, one finger tan head. Roasty, nutty, woody aroma. Taste brings a deep roasty bitterness, notes of cola, coffee. Mild sweetness and the bitterness eventually fades from the palate.

This was the final beer of the night, and it was exactly what I wanted. Basically a dark lager with the savory stuff and the hops dialed up. I would appreciate a little less savory baked bread and dark fruit in favor of more hops, but i'm nit-picking

Pours a hazy cola color with a thin khaki head . Smell is malts ,dark fruit and hops. Taste has caramel ,citrus, toffee molasses and baked bread notes . Mouth feel is a little thin with a malty finish. Easy drinking and tasty.
