Appearance: Pours a mostly hazy (20% clarity) medium orange color with a strong white head. SRM of 8. (3.75)
Aroma: Strong aromas of orange mango, pineapple, and pink grapefruit. Mostly mango and orange. Then toward the end more orange citrus develops with some citrus flower. Faint pine notes, but mostly citrus. Complex. (4.25)
Flavor: Much more simple here with strong citrus and herbal falvors .There's orange citrus ,grapfefruit, citrus flower, and some garden herbs and citrus rind. Some faint pineapple sweetness underneath. (4.25)
Feel: Lighter-bodied. Good carbonation. Clean and dry. (4.25)
Compared to Drekker Multiple Ectogasms 8/29/22: Pours a darker, clearer color. Stronger aromas. More citrus, flower, herbs, mango, pineapple. Less dank nectarine, melon, and foresty berries.
Compared to FairState Hack the Gibson 10/13/22: Pours similar, milder aromas. More citrus, pine, fruit. Less herbal and baked chicken flavors. Lighter, cleaner, dryer.
Compared to Perrennial Hurry on Daylight 10/2022: Pours similar, stronger aromas. More citrus and pine. Less floral flavors. similar body, but more pine and herbal bitterness.
Overall: A very nice and complex IPA. Lots of hops here and sometimes this muddles the flavors, but not here. This one has nice distinct flavors. Mango, orange, but also develops distinct citrus rind and flower qualities. Leans a little herbal for my liking, but still spot on. Body is crisp, clean, and dry. So drinkable. Very well-crafted.
