A - Pours a hazy orange body, mostly opaque with some translucence. Head is off white, pretty substantial in the pour, slowing fading to a thin cap. Lacing is extensive curtains of small bubble lacing.
S - Mostly citrus, orange juice and strong pith and zest notes, a touch of tropical funk, and a pine and menthol aspect that lingers.
T - That menthol note in the nose storms forward in the open, a mint element that lingers throughout. Citrus is present, grapefruit and orange juice through the middle as the malty sweetness makes its presence known, and a dry pithy finish that cleans things up nicely.
M - Decent carbonation, solid weight, with a resin build over the pour that lingers, but a dryness in the close that keeps things rolling.
O - Pretty solid, although I think the menthol attack is a bit forward for my taste. As it warms, that dials down, the fruit comes out, and I find I like this one better. It is an interesting, and largely successful effort.
