Rich malt aroma with a hint of dry oakiness. Brown with ruby highlights and a thick tan head. A brief sourness gives way to the sweet, rich malt flavor. The oak is dry and astringent and with the moderate hop bitterness forms the backbone of this mostly malty bock. It's a good example of an oak aged beer.

Malty oak goodness. The dominant aroma is molasses, along with some herbal aromatic stuff, with clove and a spicy touch I chalk up to the hops. Sorta thin feel.

Pours a beautifully clear dark brown with a ruby tint when held to the light. Full long lasting tan head. Aroma is roasted malt and a hint of caramel and dark bread. Flavor follows the nose a touch sweet with earthy hops in the finish. Feel is medium bodied with ample carbonation. Overall, an outstanding beer.
